In February 2002, we were evacuated from Madagascar by the IMF for security reasons.
We went to Emi's home town of Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria.

In June, Greg returned to Madagascar.  In July the family followed.
 



In early August, Greg and Emi visited a Baha'i school in the village of Beravina
about 2 1/2 hours' drive from Tana.

In November, Greg visited his brother Arthur in Geneva.  Here is Arthur at his little chalet across the
border in France; the view from the chalet; and with his daughter Agnes and her fiancé
(now husband) Bahadour Farhoumand.
